First Time New Home Buyers Praise Signature Homes

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ – Former Paulsboro residents James and Crystal Rutter are now right at home in their first new home, a Gainsborough model in Signature Homes, Inc.’s Deer Meadows in Franklin Township.

Along with son Jay and daughters Aleyna, Katlyn, Krystina and Patricia, the couple is enjoying the quiet country lifestyle in this community of thirty-five single-family homes.
“We had visited Spring Meadows in Harrison Township first,” Crystal says, “then checked out Signature’s website and discovered the Deer Meadows community. We loved the models this builder had to offer, with so many more features than competing builders’ models showed.”

The luxurious Gainsborough, with 3,600 square feet of living space, had everything the family wanted in a new home, including four bedrooms, 2 ½ baths, a two-story family room with fireplace, a private first floor library, an island kitchen with a spacious breakfast room and two-zone heating and air conditioning.

The spectacular master suite with its graceful double door entry, private sitting room, dual walk-in wardrobe closets and luxurious bath was the final deciding factor. “I love it,” Crystal says simply.

Signature Homes’ abundant option selections, along with the builder’s willingness to add customizing touches, was another selling factor for James and Crystal. They expanded the already generous island kitchen and upgraded cabinetry, flooring and other features; opted for extra ceiling height in a full basement and added special windows in the family room and a bay window in the dining room.

Keeping a close eye on the progress of their new home, the couple visited weekly and took photos as construction proceeded.

“Any time we had a question, Sales Manager Nancy Kim was immediately responsive,” Crystal says. “This is the first new home we’ve ever built and we found Signature Homes to be an excellent partner in this exciting project. They build a quality home and go out of their way to assist the home buyer at every step along the way.”

Quality Workmanship and Superior Sales Support Convince Buyers to Select a Signature Home

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, NJ – When Marvin and Carla Mills, former residents at the Fort Dix Army Base, began their search for a new home, a drive through Signature Homes, Inc.’s Spring Meadows and a tour of the community’s model home enticed them to look further at what the community had to offer.

“Sales manager Janice Montagano played a significant role in convincing us to buy here,” the couple says, “and the price, quality of materials, amenities and the variety of options exceeded our expectations.”

They selected the Picasso model, a four bedroom, 2 ½ bath home with many standard features including a fireplace in the family room, dramatic two-story entry foyer, private first floor library, an island kitchen with a separate breakfast room, a three-car side entry garage and a basement.

An ample selection of options allowed the Mills to personalize their home. A sunken family room, double exterior doors, stainless steel appliances, custom wood floors and an extended, curved driveway were among their choices.

“We were impressed with the quality of the homes, the size of the lots and, most especially, the prompt servicing and availability of our sales person,” Marvin says.

“The purchase experience was very positive and professionally organized, making it possible for us to be knowledgeable about the total process in a sequential manner,” Carla adds.

Offering a bit of advice for potential homebuyers, the Mills stress the importance of buying a home in a quality community. “The home needs to be viewed as an investment for potential resale,” Marvin says. “Careful attention should be placed on structural design, selected amenities and the homesite itself.”

“Signature Homes provides excellent customer service before and after the sale. As a result of Janice’s affable personality, experience and professional demeanor, we were convinced that Spring Meadows was the community of choice for us,” the couple says.

A Second Signature Home the Right Choice for Repeat Home Buyer

MULLICA HILL, NJ – When Faye Listman began to consider the purchase of a new home it was, in her words, a “no brainer” to select one built by Signature Homes, Inc. A seven-year resident of Signature’s Sherwood Estates in West Deptford, Listman had enjoyed an excellent experience in building and living in her Monet model in the community.

Life circumstances, including the passing of her parents, for whom this rancher model with a first floor master suite was selected, suggested it was time for a change.

“I’ve always preferred a two-story home,” she says. Upon hearing about the Spring Meadows community underway in Mullica Hill she was quick to visit and quick to fall in love with the Van Gogh model shown here. She was so satisfied with her earlier building experience that she didn’t even look at other builders’ communities in the area.

“I can’t say enough good things about Signature’s president Frank Inzinna and his entire team,” Listman enthuses. “Frank is a builder who is always accessible to his home buyers and his sales staff stay with you from home selection and contract signature until move-in. It means a lot to work with people you know you can trust to guide you through the home building process.”

Mrs. Listman is no stranger to new home building. Her Van Gogh model, slated for completion in mid-November, is the fourth home she has built over her lifetime. Perhaps this experience has made her more understanding of the time it takes to move the various stages of building through the township permitting process. “You have to understand that building a quality home takes time...but it’s worth the wait,” she says.

Mrs. Listman and her close friend, Debbie Kennedy, who will share the home with her, took good advantage of the many special selections and structural options available electing a wider footprint for the home, a sun room and a morning room, upgraded cabinetry, flooring and lighting and additional windows. “In the seven years since I purchased my first Signature home there have been many more products and options available.....and selecting them in Signature’s new Design Center was a true pleasure!”

She rates the builder a “high ten” on such elements as sales support, variety of home designs offered, quality of construction and the community, and service during and after the sale.
In offering advice to potential new home buyers, Mrs. Listman says “look for an established builder who has settled communities you can review.” Her vote for that established builder clearly goes to Signature Homes!

Drive By Results in Home Buy for Franklin Township Couple

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ – One of the most common ways potential homebuyers discover the community and home of their dreams is by “driving by” new home communities until they see something that appeals. Such was the case for Carlene and Brian Lloyd who discovered Signature Homes, Inc.’s Deer Meadows while checking out other communities.

“We were immediately impressed by the intimate size of this community with just 35 homes, two cul de sacs and large homesites,” Carlene says.

Compared to other new home communities they had visited, the couple felt that Signature Homes’ community offered the nicest models and options, with many of the features they sought in a new home included here as standard.

“We wanted a rancher and the Monet model was the perfect choice, with the best floor plan and the best flow compared to other builders’ ranch models we had seen,” Brian says.

They decided to make some structural changes up-front that would be more difficult to achieve after the home was completed. They added two feet to the footprint of the home, opted for a walk-out basement with a higher ceiling, and re-arranged the kitchen layout to suit Carlene’s personal preferences.

Signature Homes’ willingness and ability to make such customizing changes has long been popular with homebuyers.

The Lloyds give high points to their purchase procedure and are especially appreciative of sales manager Nancy Kim’s professionalism and assistance. “We love our home,” the pair say with enthusiasm.
